How do I apply for a puppy?

To begin your journey with us, fill out the Stratton House Kennel Puppy Application online. Once your application is reviewed, we will contact you with next steps and deposit information.

What breeds do you offer?

We specialize in Giant Schnauzers. 

How does the waitlist work?

When potential Stratton House families are interested in bringing home a Giant Schnauzer, they must be approved through the formal application process and place a $500 non-refundable deposit. The deposit holds their spot in the waitlist for an upcoming puppy. Stratton House can not guarantee sex of puppies or other qualities such as color before a litter is born. Prospective parents who join the waitlist understand that they are securing a spot o the waitlist and will have a selection of puppies based on who is available. We do our best to place puppies with desired traits / sex when possible. 

Scenario: Should a waitlist parent desire a male puppy and have their number called but only females are available, that parent can choose to select a female from the litter, or move to the next litter and wait for a male. 

Scenario: Should a waitlist parent be #10 on the list and a litter produce only 9 puppies, they would automatically move to the #1 spot for the next litter. 

**If after three litters Stratton House Kennels is unable to fulfill a puppy for a waitlist parent, they would be issued a refund. Refunds are not issued otherwise to allow for our program to run smoothly and ensure the best placement.
