I had an excellent experience buying my Giant Schnauzer from Rick. From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, professional, and clearly cares about his dogs. The take-home package was very informative and covered everything I needed to feel confident bringing my puppy home. You can tell Rick puts a lot of time and effort into raising healthy, well-prepared puppies. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a Giant Schnauzer.
I can’t even put into words how amazing Rick and Stratton House Kennels are!! He provided me with nearly daily (yes, daily!!!!) pics and updates and everything you could want leading up to bringing home your best friend. Winnie came home already so well adapted, happy, healthy, and FABULOUS!!!! Rick set me and Winnie up for success and I can not think of any other breeder that could do what him and his family do so well. They are the absolute best there is. Period.
What I can tell you Is that there are no better People to work with. Their dogs are their lives, nothing less. This is my fourth puppy in my life and you can easily tell the level of care at pickup. My Milli clearly loved them. She has an INCREDIBLE temperament for an 8 week old puppy. She was so well taken care of and you can tell by how clean and confident she was immediately. I consider them family. Incredible, quick communication throughout the whole process. I WILL continue to stay in touch with them and hope to be a repeat customer in the future.
